In this article, we'll go over the configurations and customizations you can apply to your blog.
Understanding the Scope of Blog Customizations
Blog Posts and Blog Listing Pages have multiple aspects we can change and multiple others we can’t. Sometimes, it can be hard to understand what can be modified and how to do it. In this article, we'll review the aspects you can customize right out of the box.
Blog Post Templates
Atlas Pro includes 3 Blog Post templates, while Atlas Free includes only the first listed template. Due to HubSpot’s limitations, having a Drag and Drop template is not currently possible, but you still locally Drag and Drop modules into your blog post’s main rich text field.
Atlas templates:
- Blog post
- Blog Post 2
- Blog post 2 with Contents Menu
Header Image
The blog post's header image is automatically set when you enable a Featured Image on your blog post's settings. While on the blog post editor, navigate to the settings tab and scroll down to the Featured Image section.
Header Title
The blog post's header title is automatically set when you input your Blog Post’s title. You can change the title using the input at the top center of your screen in your Blog Post Editor or in the Settings tab.
Comments Form
The Comments form can be globally disabled from your account's settings. Use your navigation bar to go to Settings (gear icon) ⇒ Tools section ⇒ Website dropdown ⇒ Blog ⇒ Comments tab ⇒ Turn off commenting ⇒ Save.
Global Blog Subscribe
All templates include a Global Blog Subscribe module, which is a global type of content. This means that once this module’s content gets edited, all the instances of the module that live on your page will get updated as well.
This module includes a header rich text field, a Blog object selector, a title, and a response rich text field, which will pop up once the user submits the form. Keep in mind that the module will display a subscription form only when the corresponding blog subscription emails (for that specific blog) have been set up.
Blog Listing Page Templates
Both Atlas Pro and Atlas Free include 2 Blog Listing Page templates. The Drag and Drop template allows you to add and remove modules for your listing page just like any other page.
Atlas templates:

- Blog listing Drag and Drop
